-I called you DAD-In stature you stood above the rest,
A man of strength you faced each test
Your smile could warm the coldest heart
Your voice brought light in the dark.
Securely wrapped in spiritual prayers,
I always knew that you were there
You lived your faith in many ways,
Never seeking earthly praise.
I watched examples set for me,
In you ‘twas Christ I’d always see,
You made my heart so very glad
How blessed I was to call you Dad.
